In terms of semi-custom homes this is a term we use for homes that fit between mid-range production homes and the $1 million price point where custom homes traditionally start. Semi-custom homes will typically have upgraded features above production homes but do not have the budgets and higher end finishes found in custom homes. Many of these features include construction material buyers may not be able to see or physically touch as well as final amenity features such as tile, appliances, cabinets, as well as plumbing and electrical fixtures. Upgrading construction materials and final selections help turn a production home into a semi-custom home without getting into the extra budgets of full custom home prices. We have tremendous experinece with this and can help in this process.
We consider the typical custom home to be priced over $1 million dollars but there are many factors that actually determine home prices.
